Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau à base de tissu composite, comprenant : le maintien d'un faisceau de fibres, la fibre étant des filaments continus de fibres de carbone, de fibres d'aramide, ou de fibres de verre, et autres ; le placement d'une couche de matériau de matrice sur et sous le faisceau de fibres, le matériau de matrice étant un tissu non-tissé réalisé à partir d'une matière adhésive thermoplastique telles que des résines polyamides, du polyuréthanne thermoplastique, ou du polyester, et autres ; le chauffage du matériau de matrice pour sa fusion et l'application d'une pression sur les couches ; et le refroidissement des couches, permettant la liaison de fibres en place par l'adhésif. Des couches de matériau composite obtenues par le procédé de l'invention peuvent être stratifiées et soumises à un traitement ou formage supplémentaire le cas échéant. Les matériaux à base de tissu composite fabriqués par le procédé de l'invention présentent de propriétés d'allongement, des propriétés de compression, des propriétés de résilience, et des propriétés de dispersion et de propagation supérieures par rapport aux matériaux à base de tissu composite fabriqués par des procédés classiques.
