Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Ultraschall-Strömungssensor zur Erfassung des Volumenstromes durch einen Strömungskanal (1). Mit einer Sende-/Empfangseinheit (18) werden mittels eines Ultraschall-Wandlers (14) erzeugte Ultraschallimpulse (17) in den Strömungskanal (1) eingekoppelt. Dem Strömungskanal (1) ist ein Volumen (7) zugeordnet. In dem Volumen (7) ist ein Ultraschall-Wandler (14) aufgenommen. Dieser sendet oder empfängt an seinen beiden Seiten (15, 16) Ultraschallsignale (22, 28).
