Abstract

The invention relates to an assembly for combatting fire by means of supplying a radical-neutralizing aerosol, comprising: at least one holder with a starting material for generating the aerosol, activating means which co-act with the starting material and with which a conversion of the starting material into the aerosol can be initiated, and a carrier with which the holder with starting material and the activating means are assembled. The invention also relates to a cabinet for containing electronic equipment provided with such an assembly, and a method for fire protection of such a cabinet.
