Abstract
The invention relates to weapons, in particular to systems for guiding laser guided artillery projectiles. Said invention is characterised in that the inventive system comprises a guided artillery projectile (GAP) provided with a semi-active laser homing head and an electronic mission task selector which is operationally connected to fire plans. Said system comprises communications radio stations, a laser target indicating range-finder provided with the IFF code selector connected to the reception channel of the communications radio station and an airborne receiver/ transmitter which is arranged in the GAP in such a way that it is enabled to transmit a signal ready for receiving a mission task on the reception channel of the communications radio station in a specified time interval after fire. In addition, said receiver/ transmitter ensures a sequential reception of information about flight-in time and the IFF code from the transmission channel of the communications radio station and the transmission of a corresponding IFF code and a command for actuating the laser emission after the lapse of the flight-in time from the transmission channel of the airborne receiver/ transmitter to the laser target indicating range-finder through the reception channel of the communications radio station. Said invention makes it possible to computerise the GAP guiding process, to improve the interference protection of the system and to reduce a preparation time for charge loading.
