Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Aushärtung einer aus einem Material, das unter elektromagnetischer Strahlung aushärtet, insbesondere aus einem UV-Lack oder aus einem thermisch aushärtenden Lack, bestehenden Beschichtung eines Gegenstandes (4), insbesondere einer Fahrzeugkarosserie, umfasst mindestens einen elektromagnetische Strahlung erzeugenden Strahler (12). Ein Fördersystem (3), welches den Gegenstand (4) in die Nähe des Strahlers (12) und von diesem wieder weg führt, besitzt mindestens einen Transportwagen (18), der auf mindestens einer Lauffläche (15, 16) translatorisch verfahrbar ist. Dieser Transportwagen (18) weist einen Antriebsmotor (22) für die Translationsbewegung auf. Ein Halterungsgestell (26) für den Gegenstand (4) ist an dem Transportwagen (18) befestigt und um eine quer zur Richtung der Translationsbewegung verlaufende Dreh- oder Schwenkachse unabhängig von der Translationsbewegung verdreh- oder verschwenkbar. Hierdurch wird es möglich, auch Gegenstände (4) mit kompliziert geformter Oberfläche, wie dies insbesondere Fahrzeugkarosserien sind, so an dem mindestens einen Strahler (12) vorbeizuführen, dass alle Oberflächenbereiche jedenfalls ungefähr mit der gleichen Strahlungsmenge beaufschlagt werden können.
