Abstract

Disclosed is an electrical plug-in connection part comprising a chamber housing (2) for receiving electrical contact elements so as to form a plug-in connector along with another, complementary plug-in connection part that contains contact elements which are embodied in a complementary manner to said contact elements. A locking part (6) which can be displaced by means of an actuation lever (7) in order to join the first plug-in connection part (1) to the other plug-in connection part is mounted on said first plug-in connection part (1). The plug-in connection part (1) is provided with a mechanism for locking the locking part (6) in the closed position in which the same is duly joined to the other plug-in connection part. Said locking mechanism can be activated only when the locking part (6) is in the closed position. The inventive electrical plug-in connection part is characterized in that the locking mechanism is configured as a locking lever (18) which comprises at least one stop element (23) and can be pivoted into the locked position thereof in the same direction as the actuation lever (7) while the locking part (6) and/or the actuation lever (7) is/are provided with at least one positioning slide (24) that cooperates with the at least one stop element (23). Cooperation between the stop element (23) and the positioning slide (24) prevents the locking lever (18) from being activated when the locking part (6) is not in the closed position while preventing the locking part (6) from being unlocked when the locking lever (18) is activated.
