Abstract

L'invention concerne la désinfection de matériaux contaminés, et peut être utilisée en médecine, en médecine vétérinaire, dans la microbiologie, dans le domaine alimentaire et dans d'autres domaines, pour éliminer tout type de micro-organisme. L'invention concerne également un procédé de désinfection de matériaux contaminés. Ce procédé consiste : à humidifier lesdits matériaux ; à les disposer dans une cavité de travail ; à irradier cette cavité de travail au moyen d'un rayonnement micro-ondes ; et à les retirer de ladite cavité. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce que : l'humidification des matériaux contaminés est réalisée au moyen d'un sensibilisateur liquide, dans une quantité non inférieure à 0,1 partie en poids pour une partie en poids de matériau ; l'irradiation est réalisée par intermittence, une exposition quasi-isothermique des matériaux étant réalisée pendant les pauses entre les différentes irradiations, la dernière exposition quasi-isothermique étant réalisée après l'arrêt des irradiations. L'invention concerne encore un dispositif de désinfection destiné à mettre en oeuvre le procédé selon l'invention.
