Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif électrothérapeutique utilisé dans le traitement de divers aspects liés au syndrome du canal carpien. Ledit dispositif constitue un élément similaire à la stimulation nerveuse électrique transcutanée qui est miniaturisé, confortable et discret, ce qui permet d'effectuer des activités quotidiennes avec une efficacité non surchargée. Ce dispositif loge un circuit électronique contenant de électrodes placées de manière optimale et un microprocesseur préprogrammé pour distribuer un protocole optimal d'impulsion par stimulus, lesdits paramètres d'impulsion par stimulus variant de manière à distribuer une série d'impulsions par stimuli, dans le traitement de tous les aspects du syndrome du canal carpien, notamment mais non seulement le blocage de la douleur, la régénération nerveuse, la diminution des inflammations et la libération biochimique.
