Abstract
Cette invention vise à prévenir la mort des graines provoquée par un manque d'eau pendant la période de germination, ainsi qu'à alimenter en eau les racines des germes lors de la culture de plantes de printemps dans des régions à climat aride. Pour ce faire, chaque graine est soumise, avant sa mise en terre, à un traitement pré-ensemencement qui consiste à assembler une enveloppe constituée d'un matériau étanche et conçue pour contenir des graines ainsi qu'un porteur colonisé par des micro-organismes à une autre enveloppe constituée du même matériau étanche et renfermant une réserve d'eau ainsi que des engrais minéraux, ce qui permet de produire une capsule présentant une enveloppe commune destinée d'une part à protéger les graines contre la pénétration de l'eau du sol au début du printemps, lorsque de longues périodes de dégel alternent avec des périodes de fortes gelées de la terre et d'autre part à stocker la réserve d'eau en vue d'alimenter les germes en eau en cas d'absence de précipitations ou d'arrosage du sol.
