Abstract

Procédé de commande d’un système nucléaire couplé comprenant un réacteur nucléaire fonctionnant en régime sous-critique et un dispositif générateur de neutrons utilisant un faisceau de particules chargées issues d’un accélérateur, le générateur de neutrons fournissant la quantité de neutrons nécessaire à l’entretien de la réaction nucléaire. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l’on détermine le point de fonctionnement en donnant à l’énergie EP des particules une valeur supérieure ou égale à la valeur EPMax maximisant la production de neutrons, et en ce que le réglage du nombre de neutrons s’effectue en agissant sur l’énergie des particules issues de l’accélérateur, à intensité constante du faisceau. L’invention concerne aussi le système nucléaire hybride couplé en faisant application.
