[0001] The present invention relates to a breath freshener that effectively removes unpleasant odors generated from bad breath and exhaled breath, gives a refreshing sensation in the oral cavity, and imparts a good aroma to exhaled breath, and a method for producing the same. Related.
Background art
[0002] With the recent internationalization of dietary content and diversification of lifestyles, consumers have become increasingly aware of halitosis and breath odor, as well as consumers' demand for cosmetics applied to the human oral cavity. Significant changes have been observed. In particular, after eating or drinking foods (such as gyoza or grilled meat) or alcoholic beverages that easily leave an unpleasant odor in the mouth, unpleasant odors caused by bad breath or breathing when going out or going out. For the purpose of removing odors, confectionery such as gum and candy containing a refreshing agent that can be easily applied to the oral cavity are often used.
[0003] By the way, these gums and candy only come out of the area of confectionery mainly for the purpose of providing a taste such as sweetness, and therefore, the cooling provided by the refreshing agent incorporated therein has The sensation is often masked by the sweetness derived from the relatively large amount of sweet ingredients contained in these confections. In fact, the company actively promotes the effective removal of unpleasant odors generated from bad breath and breath. Some aspects are difficult to expect.
[0004] For the purpose of solving the above-mentioned problems in sweets in which sweet components are predominant, various oral compositions mainly comprising a refreshing agent have been proposed. For example, an oral composition in the form of easily disintegratable granules obtained by granulating menthol with a flavor (for example, see Patent Document 1), a flavor improver comprising alcohol dehydrogenase and peppermint oil (for example, An oral composition comprising menthol and baking soda (see, for example, Patent Document 3) and the like have been proposed so far.
[0005] However, all of the compositions (formulations) described in the prior art are merely intended to incorporate a cooling agent into the composition. Therefore, the production of these compositions Consideration is not always given to chemical changes in the composition from the time of manufacture to its application to humans. For example, many of the cooling components are volatile. Therefore, if a certain period of time is required before using these compositions, the cooling components may deteriorate over time (natural depletion), and as a result, As a result, it has often been unavoidable to reduce the cooling effect.
[0006] Therefore, in the technical field, in order to solve the problems of these compositions containing a cooling agent, research is also being conducted on a configuration in which a relatively high concentration of the cooling agent is contained. Is being done.
[0007] Specifically, a liquid / oil-based coolant should be strictly contained to achieve strict containment, and a mouth-washing agent (for example, refer to Patent Document 4) in which a liquid / oil-based coolant is weakened or a flavor oil droplet is encapsulated. Attempts to encapsulate a cooling agent such as a flavor oil capsule (for example, see Patent Document 5) have been proposed.
[0008] Certainly, by adopting such a capsule utilization form, a relatively high concentration of a cooling agent can be effectively held until a time when these capsules are applied to a human oral cavity, and a high concentration of a freshener can be maintained. It becomes possible to guide the cooling agent into the oral cavity. Further, since the cooling agent is encapsulated in the capsule, the deterioration of the cooling agent over time (natural consumption) is suppressed, and the preservability thereof is also improved.
[0009] Although these techniques are devised to maintain the cooling agent without deteriorating, the unfavorable bitterness derived from the cooling agent and fragrance compounded therein is required. In fact, it still remains, and although the degree of sweetness varies slightly, the taste is likely to be monotonous, so that in reality, only things that are not attractive in taste are obtained.

[0051] Alternatively, as another method, a liquid mixture cooled to room temperature is obtained in the same manner as described above, and a freshener, a fragrance, and an edible fat are added to the liquid mixture at one time. Stir to dissolve the additives (fresheners, flavors and edible fats and oils). Through this step, a lipophilic liquid cooling agent can be prepared.
[0052] In any of these production procedures, since a lipophilic liquid emulsifier is used, even after a stirring step under heating, deterioration of oils and fats due to heat observed when a powdery emulsifier is used is observed. There is an advantage that can be minimized.
[0053] On the other hand, the soft film material enclosing the lipophilic liquid cooling agent is produced substantially according to a method for producing a capsule film known in the art.
[0054] First, a liquid mixture obtained by mixing a plasticizer and water with a water-decomposable polymer capsule base material is heated, that is, at least about 65 ° C, preferably about 65 ° C to about 75 ° C. At a temperature of C, stirring is carried out for about 30 minutes to about 2 hours, preferably for about 1 hour to obtain a coating material. Then, a colorant and a hydrophilic sweetener are further added to the coating material, followed by stirring. A soft film material is manufactured by these series of procedures.
[0055] Then, the lipophilic liquid cooling agent is encapsulated with a soft film material. As a method for encapsulating a lipophilic liquid coolant with a soft film material, any method known in the art for producing a soft capsule (soft capsule), for example, a rotary soft encapsulation method, a seamless encapsulation method, or the like can be used. Possible forces are not limited to these methods.
