Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour fournir de l'oxygène à la cathode d'un MEA d'une pile à combustible PEM. Ce procédé consiste à fournir de l'oxygène sous forme d'eau oxygénée à des concentrations situées entre 50 et 200 ppm. La présente invention concerne également une pile à combustible PEM qui comprend une anode, une cathode, une électrode à polymère solide (SPE) située entre l'anode et la cathode, une couche de diffusion gazeuse (GDL) située à la fois sur l'anode et sur la cathode, ainsi que des systèmes pour fournir de l'hydrogène à l'anode et des systèmes pour fournir de l'oxygène à la cathode sous forme d'eau oxygénée à une concentration située entre 50 et 200 ppm.
