Abstract

Feuerfestes Bauteil mit einer zur Schmelze hin angeordnete Kontaktseite des Keramikmaterials, an der sich im Einbauund Betriebsfall eine die Schmelze kontaktierende Grenzschicht ausbildet. Aufgrund eines mit zunehmender Temperatur abnehmenden spezifischen Widerstandes ist diese Grenzschicht bei der sich daran einstellenden Betriebstemperatur elektrisch leitfähig. In das Keramikmaterial werden im Grenzbereich zwischen dieser leitfähigen Grenzschicht und dem sich daran anschliessenden Bereich des Keramikmaterials eine oder mehrere Elektroden angeordnet, die zumindest entlang einem Abschnitt der Schmelzen-Kontaktfläche einen Abstand zu dieser hin einhält oder sich in Abstand zu dieser erstreckt. Im Betriebsfall ist an diese zumindest eine Elektrode und/oder die Schmelze ein Potential zur Erzeugung eines das Keramikmaterial durchsetzenden elektrischen Feldes angelegt. Damit wird über den Abschnitt der Schmelzen-Kontaktfläche hinweg ein Schutz gegen eine Pentration oder ein Ansetzen der Schmelzenschlacke und/oder der Schmelze erreicht.
