Abstract
Marine lifejacket auto-control self igniting guiding light system that only ignites at night and bad visibility once the person or the ring buoy gets into water in a marine accident. It works automatically without chemical reaction between the seawater and the battery contents or by manual button, as currently is the case with other light systems.
Description
Marine Auto Control Self Igniting Light
Technical Field:-
The system of the invention is based on four main parts units (units)and two optional parts
Background Art:
According to the marine safety regulations demanded by i.m.o.through the International convention SOLAS- 1974. Each marine life jacket and marine ring buoy should be provided with light whose characteristics are luminous intensity is not less than 0,75 cd. By a source of energy capable of remaining at least 8h.
Since the above mentioned date all international specialized companies have produced only two types of technical marine light systems, which are usedall over the world up till now.
I st Type:-
Operates by water chemical reaction. Battery works as single used. It commences its active period as soon as the Battery is sub-merged into the water.
I I ad Type:
Operates by a manual control unit(Button Switch on/off) to control the battery energy current to flow to the lamp .
Defects of the background Art
Defect (1) : If a marine accident occurs in the morning and the crew have abandoned the vessel-once the water chemical reaction Battery is submerged into the water it will activate and give its energy for a period of 8h. During the day light, by the fall of darkness-the Battery will have exhaustedits energy. The apparatus will expire due to its single use designation.
Defect(2): In case the sinking persons are either injured or become unconscious, due to the horrible situation of the marine accident.the persons will not be able to remove the manual Button switch on/off, Although the apparatus is workable ,it will be useless.
N.B. I have personally ,many unforgettable situations in my practical experience in that field. Thus , there a re still many lost p eople during night rescue due to defect in marine lighting systems currently available. Statistics are undeniable.
Disclosure of the invention:
The system of the invention is based on four main parts "units" and two optional parts.
The main parts are as follow:
Part No. 1
Water sensor or water pressure unit "complete set" works as switch on/off, to allow the battery energy to flow directly to the light resistance unit.
Once the water sensor or water pressure unit is submerged into the water, this unit never allows the battery current to flow to the second part during the storage period in a dark store.
Part No. 2
Photo cell (light resistance complete set unit) this unit operates as a switch on/off to make sure that the light does not ignite during the day light.
Part No. 3
A battery which is capable of providing the system with the required energy as per SOLAS requirement.
Part No. 4
A lamp whose luminous intensity is not less than 0.75 cd. As per SOLAS requirements.
Optional Parts:
Part No.l
A condenser which changes the continual light of the lamp to a flash light ( Rate per minute as required).
Part No. 2
An optional "Button" that can be used under specific conditions.

The best mode of the invention:
The new facilities of the function of the invention are that the apparatus can operate automatically by a self control system under the condition of water medium and darkness. This will save the Battery energy to be used for the essential purpose, which avoids the defects of the currently available systems all over the world.
Thus, it will save many souls during the night salvage and will make the job of the salvage crew much easier.
