Abstract

Method for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of at least one specific element, wherein signal of background tissue represented in an MR image is at least partially dephased by applying a gradient imbalance or additional gradient, wherein signal around said element is accordingly conserved, resulting in a selective depiction of said element.
