Abstract

L'invention concerne des dispositifs sous-cutanés implantables et des procédés utilisant une dérivation et/ou une électrode en vue de commander et/ou stimuler le coeur. Un ou plusieurs éléments de fixation sont compris, par exemple des éléments extensibles, des éléments de fixation hélicoïdaux à porosité, des rainures, des crêtes, des dents, des dents à arête, des dents chargées par ressort, des dents souples ou repliables, ou d'autres mécanismes de fixation conçus de manière à sécuriser de façon active et/ou passive une ou les deux électrodes ou corps de la dérivation dans les tissus non intrathoraciques sous-cutanés de façon aiguë, chronique, ou chronique et aiguë. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'implantation de dérivation sous-cutanée consistant à fournir une dérivation comprenant un corps de dérivation, une électrode et un ou plusieurs éléments de fixation, et à fixer le corps de dérivation et/ou l'électrode au tissu non intrathoracique sous-cutané au niveau d'un ou plusieurs sites de fixation au moyen des éléments de fixation. Ce procédé peut nécessiter l'utilisation d'un dispositif d'administration, notamment une gaine, destiné à l'administration de la dérivation au niveau d'un site d'implantation non intrathoracique sous-cutané.
