Abstract

Un écran de rétroprojecteur présente successivement du côté projecteur vers l'extérieur, une lentille de Fresnel (6), un diffuseur surfacique (8), un support (10)1 fin collé sur un substrat 1 (24) épais muni d'une couche anti-reflet (26) externe. La lumière émise par le projecteur (2) est collimatée par la lentille de Fresnel (6). Elle traverse un diffuseur (8) ayant un diagramme de rayonnement allongé avec un grand axe horizontal. Ce diffuseur assure l'étalement de la lumière dans le plan horizontal, de sorte à assurer un large angle de vision horizontal. La lumière sortant du diffuseur est reçue sur un support (10) avec des éléments de focalisation cylindriques (18) sensiblement parallèles au grand axe du diagramme de rayonnement du diffuseur et une couche opaque (20) avec des ouvertures (22) adaptées à laisser passer la lumière focalisée par les éléments de focalisation. Comme les éléments de focalisation sont parallèles au grand axe du diffuseur, quasiment toute la lumière projetée est transmise. Du fait des éléments de focalisation, l'écran présente un angle de vision vertical adapté. La présence de la couche opaque assure un contraste optimisé du fait de la position arrière du diffuseur (8) par rapport au support (10).
