Abstract

L'invention porte sur un commutateur ATM destiné à être utilisé dans un ARMC large bande comprenant deux cartes, ce qui réduit le nombre de cartes pour augmenter la capacité d'utilisation de l'espace baie tout en limitant les coûts de fabrication. Le commutateur ATM comprend une carte WSFA permettant de former des ports LVDS 16 x 16 de 155 Mbps et de produire un débit de 2,5 Gbit/s. Le commutateur ATM comprend également une carte WLIA pour établir une liaison avec une interface UTOPIA avec un signal OC-3c lors de la réception d'un signal LVDA. Le commutateur ATM est connecté à un bloc RAS-N, un bloc RAS-B, un blocs RAS-T, un bloc SCP et un bloc RCS afin d'effectuer une fonction de commande et de créer une voie de trafic cellulaire.
