  • the control circuit 14 has a keypad 58 via which it may be activated and de-activated and programmed also, as will be described below. It includes also an LCD display 59 for displaying keystrokes via the keypad 58 and, upon request via the keypad, items stored in the memory. Also, in the case of a trigger event triggering the security system 10 (see Figure 1), as will be described below, the type and location thereof are displayed on the display 59.
  • the control circuit 14 includes also a pair of connectors 64 serving as a switch which the control circuit can open or close. Via the connectors 64 and wiring 65 (see Figure 1 also), an external device in the form of a relay (not shown) of a light 66 (see Figure 1 ) in the room 12 is connected to the control circuit 14. As such, by closing the switch, the control circuit 14 can control the relay to switch the light on. By opening it, the light is switched off.
  • a user (not shown) of the security system 10 is the owner of the room 12. He has a remote communications device in the form of a mobile phone 68.
  • the control circuit 14 stores in its memory the contact number of the mobile phone 68. The contact number was programmed into the memory of the control circuit 14 via the keypad 58.
  • the control circuit 14 is capable of relaying a video signal or a still image received from the camera 18 to a remote device, such as a mobile phone or a personal computer in communication with it via the cellular communications network. The same applies to an audio signal received from the microphone 20.
  • the control circuit 14 stores in its memory also a passcode and a number of predetermined operation codes, each associated with a particular operation or a combination of operations which can be performed by the control circuit. All of these codes were programmed into the memory via the keypad 58.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de sécurité avec des capteurs d'événements déclenchants, y compris un capteur de mouvement et un capteur de fumée, une caméra de surveillance, un microphone de surveillance et un circuit électronique de commande, y compris un émetteur compatible avec un réseau cellulaire de communications. Pendant son utilisation, le système est connecté avec un tel réseau. Lorsque le système de commande reçoit une entrée indicative d'un événement déclenchant, il transmet, à travers le réseau, un signal de sortie indicatif de l'événement déclenchant à un dispositif éloigné de télécommunications dont le numéro de contact est stocké dans une mémoire du circuit de commande.
