Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'améliorer l'efficacité d'un récepteur dans un dispositif de communication multimode. Ce procédé consiste à (704) surveiller la puissance d'un signal reçu d'une cellule voisine sur un canal de réception, à (706) déterminer un bruit sur ce canal de réception en provenance d'un amplificateur de puissance émetteur du dispositif de communication, à (708) comparer le niveau d'interférence avec un seuil prédéterminé et par rapport à la puissance du signal et, (710) à supprimer la réception lorsque l'amplificateur de puissance d'émission du dispositif de communication est allumé et si le seuil prédéterminé n'est pas dépassé, à indiquer une auto-interférence excessive.
