Abstract

Die Erfindung betrift einen Brennstoffzellenstapel mit einer Mehrzahl aufeinander geschichteter Brennstoffzellenelemente (2) mit heweils dazwischen angeordneten Trennplatten (3). Für die Zuführung des Brenngases und die Ableitung des Abgases sind innenliegende Kanäle (4,) gebildet. Der erfindungsgemäße Brennstoffzellenstapel ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf jeweils einer ersten Seite der Brennstoffelemente (2) mehrere parallel verlaufende Längskanële (6) zur Führung eines Brenngases gebildet sind und an den einen Enden eine Verteilerzone (7) gebildet ist, die einen Zuführkanal (4) mit den jeweils ersten Enden der Längskanäle (6) verbindet und eine Sammelzone (8) vorgesehen ist, die den Ableitkanal (5) mit dem jeweils zweiten Ende der Längskanäle (6) verbindet, und daß auf der zweiten Seite der Brennstoffzellenelemente (2) eine in Richtung der Längskanäle (6) verlaufende Oxidationsmittelführung (9) vorgesehen ist.
