Abstract

Es wird ein hocheffizientes Filterelement mit verbesserter Abscheidungsleistung bei relativ geringem Luftwiderstand und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen Filterelementes beschrieben, das mindestens zwei Lagen aus einem luftdurchlässigen Trägmaterial aufweist, die an beiden sich gegenüberliegenden Seiten mit einer Faserschicht aus Nano- und/oder Mikrofasern einer bestimmten elektrischen Polarität beschichtet sind. Das Filterelement wird durch ein Verfah ren hergestellt, bei dem die Nano- und / oder Mikrofasern aus einer Lösung gebildet werden, indem in einem Hochspannungsfeld auf die Lösung eine elektrostatische Kraft wirkt, die Lösung zu den Nano- und/ oder Mikrofasern auseinanderzieht, wobei die Oberflächenspannung, die Viskosität, die Leitfähigkeit und/ oder die Ladung der Lösung durch Zusätze eingestellt wird.
