Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil à laser comportant plusieurs dispositifs laser couplés ensemble. Les dispositifs laser comprennent des fibres optiques à régions d'activité laser. Chacune des fibres, qui comporte un réflecteur disposé à l'une des extrémités, est connectée à un combineur à l'autre extrémité. Un dispositif à pompe laser pour chaque fibre fournit l'énergie de pompage aux régions d'activité laser. La lumière se propageant dans les fibres entre en interaction de façon à former des états en phase. Le réseau de fibres peut être couplé, soit par paires, soit en bloc avant le réflecteur et la région d'activité laser.
