L'invention concerne une table comportant des premier et second dessus de table, conçus pour s'engager par accouplement pour former un dessus de table composé. En outre, un ou plusieurs dessus de table d'extension peuvent être placés entre le premier dessus de table et le second dessus de table afin d'augmenter la superficie du dessus de table composé. Les premier et second dessus de table sont fixés à un assemblage glissant pour placer sélectivement les premier et second dessus de table entre une position fermée et ouverte agrandie. Des première jambe et seconde jambes sont fixées à l'assemblage glissant. Les bords intérieurs des premier et second dessus de table et des bords intérieurs des premier et seconde dessus de table d'expansion sont conçus afin de s'engager l'un avec l'autre par accouplement.
