Abstract

Status light contains of one or more parts, which are also source of red light, in shape of vehicle brand logo. It is built in, above back-registration-table of a vehicle.

Description

STATUS LIGHT
INVETION DESCRIPTION: Object of the invention:
Object of the invention is car - industry.
It helps creating status identity of a vehicle brand, which helps a brand become more recognizable, and is a sort of a contribution to a vehicle manufacturer's image (car - industry).
From technical point of view it serves as a supplement of a back light, in shape of a vehicle's logo.
Technical problem
For many years the fundamental problem of vehicle manufacturers has been creating recognisable elements of vehicles, a sort of identity and a status symbol.
By being recognisable, it would solve this problem of being "the same as" or similar to car types of other manufacturers.
Problems with originality of car types and their affirmation on the market have so far been solved by new designer solutions for improvement.
The other solution has been creating new car type, which almost always faces the problem of similarity or the problem of "being the same" as other car types, due to mass-production, commercialisation and the competition quantity on the market.
The only long-lasting segment creating recognisable and differential elements of vehicles is vehicle's logo.
This invention works in direction of exposing and defining logo, offering functional solution for being noticed and recognisable, as well as supporting image of a car brand, whatever the type is.
Along with its functionality, it also offers promotional solution, as well as status identity of both manufacturer and final car users.
Technical situation
This product is possible to build in, in various ways, attaching to the back part of luggage department.
Instead of usual metal sign, multifunctional sign is attached.
This multifunctional sign is designed in a way that central part of a sign lights when positional light is turned on (inner part of a sign), and a part of this sign lights in case of stepping on breaks (outer, circle - shaped part of a sign). It can also be modified in a way that its light has two intensities.
All combinations and variations on this subject are possible.
Explanation of invention's core value
This invention serves for easier distinction of vehicles, semi-trailers or trailers from other similar products and for easier noticing of them.
Basic idea of this invention is lighting or additional lighting of a vehicle's logo, by which it gets recognisable elements.
It also improves basic lights, by which a vehicle is seen more easily. This product can be built in various ways, attaching it to a back part of luggage department. Instead of usual metal sign, multifunctional sign is attached. This sign can be made of: a) battery-lights (electric-bulbs) b) diodes c) back-light d) some reflecting matter [phosphorus etc., helped by outer source of light (halogen or standard)]. Status Light can work in these ways: a) outer part of a sign lights when positional light is turned on, and it lights with greater intensity when breaks are stepped on or b) Inner part of sign lights when positional light is turned on and the outer part lights when breaks are stepped on or c) vehicle's logo lights when all lights are turned on.
Brief scheme description:
Fig. 1.) Complete image of status light with basic parts marked (1,2) Fig. 2.) Image of outer elements of status light (no. 1) Fig. 3.) Image of inner part of status light (no. 2)
Detail description of one way of producing this invention:
This invention consists of vehicle brand initials in its centre, which can serve as positional light, and outer line of this initials, which can serve as stop light, consisting of ice-diodes or some other sort of light source in red colour.
It can be built in on the back part of car above registration-tables, but other variations on the subject are also possible.
Usage of the invention
Invention would improve design of a vehicle and safety in traffic, with reasonable investments. Also, along with design improvement, a vehicle would have more compact shape of its back part. With this supplement, along with already mentioned design and functional service, it would "connect" all light units on the back part of a vehicle in one compact form.

Claims

Although this patent can be used in various, before mentioned, ways, it has primarily been designed with ice - diodes of a red colour, and in shape of a vehicle's logo which lights, or has two intensities of light, or has two components of sign, from which one lights all the time, and the other only occasionally (when the breaks are stepped on).
