Abstract

The inventive method for producing hollow plastic articles consists in cutting off a hollow article when a blank is rotatable around the longitudinal axis thereof and/or an actuating device is rotatable around the surface of said blank. Said cutting-off is carried out at a temperature of 220-240 °C, a cutting off time of 1-3 seconds and with a speed of rotation of 2-3 rpm/sec. A drop-shape bulge is formed on a free end of an L-type rib simultaneously with said cutting off. A pressing on is carried out in two steps, i.e. at a longitudinal pressure of 0.6-0.8 MPa and a transversal force of 30-34N. In the first step, a closing element is bent towards the surface of a container in such a way that the drop-shaped bulge of the rib is encompassed. In the second step, the two-side sealed joint thereof is carried out.
