Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zur Beschichtung von Gegenständen, insbesondere Sanitärgegenständen, mit metallischen Oberflächen wird nach einem gegebenenfalls vorgesehenen Vorbehandlungsschritt zur Aktivierung der metallischen Oberflächen mindestens ein Organosilan im sogenannten Sol-Gel-Verfahren aufgebracht und die so erhaltene Beschichtung in eine Polysiloxan­-Beschichtung überführt. Diese Überführung der Beschichtung in eine Polysiloxan-Beschichtung erfolgt vorzugsweise durch thermische Behandlung bei Temperaturen < 100 °C, vorzugsweise < 70° C.
