Description

MOVEMENT TRANSFORMER FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES
The invention refers to a movement transformer for internal combustion engines
They know the classic system of transformation of liniar movement, of the pistons that receive the energy from the explosion of gases into a revolutiσn one through piston rod -crank (shaft).
The disadvantage of this solution is that the efficiency is reduced to half and even to less than 50 % since at the lower course the piston rotates by piston tod-crank the shaft just to the lower position performing only half of the course and the other half of rotation at the upper course, taking it from another piston.
The objective of this invention is to increase the efficiency of the piston course resulting from the explosion of gases.
The technical problem solved by this invention is that of attaching to the classical engines the rack system which couples on the axis pinion or the yoke and jack system which couple on a winding axis.
The transformer according to this invention eliminates the disadvantages of the solutions already known, being made of one rack fastened to the piston which at the latter's course received from gas explosion will gear, for the purpose mentioned above, a pinion on an axis (or made of a yoke fastened on the piston which has at one end a jack that couples on a winding axis) ttansforming the liniar movement into a revolution one.
There are more examples of how to realize this invention , with reference to sketches 1 and 2 which show:
-sketch 1, general view on the transformer according to the first example of how to realize this invention;
-sketch 2, general view on the machine part, according to the second example of how to realize this invention.
The transformer in the first example is made up of a piston 1 which works inside cylinder A where a rack 2 is fastened with a pin tooth and it gears (only at the course received by the piston from the explosion and spreading of gases) with a pinion 3 on an axis 4 transferring the translation movement to a rotation movement (the teeth of the pushed forward rack spin the pinion gearing with the latter's teeth).
The transformer in the second example of realisation is made up of one piston 1
(which works inside cylinder A where a yoke or pipe 8 is fastened to which a jack 2 is attached ,coupled on the axis 4 that at the course of the piston received from the explosion and spreading of gases transforms the liniar movement into a rotation one (so the cannels in the jack pushed with the winding cannels on the axis make the axis rotate).
In both the examples of realisation only to complete the cycle (times) at 4 pistons the classical method piston rod-crank , which is thinner, stays the same , and both the examples will be made by putting the pinion 3 and axis 4 as in sketch 1, making the rack 2 longer , eliminating the rod 6, fastening piston rod 7 with a pin tooth on piston 1 and moving the axis 4 with pinion 3 beyond the shaft on condition that the gearing is made only at the course received by the piston throgh explosion or burning, otherwise the whole assembly breaks. The engine can be -put horizontally and then it becomes flat allowing the flattened front part to cut the, air more easily.
The invention has the following advantages:
-The number of rotations of the engine multiplies by introducing the rack geared with a pinion on the axis or with a yoke and jack whose fillet couples with the winding, axis on condition that the couplings are made ,onby when the pisto receives the course resulting from the explosion or burning of gases.
-With the same quantity of fuel there can be made a longer distance and a better functioning .

REVENDICATIONS l.The transformer of movement for internal combustion engines characterized- by the fact that, in order to increase the efficiency and reduce the consumption of fuel, by multiplying the rotation of the engine , is made of one piston (1) which works inside cylinder A on which there is a cremaillere or rack (2) fastened with a pin tooth (§) that only at the course of the piston (1) received from the explosion or burning of gases , gears a pinion (3) fastened on an axis (4) making the teeth of the rack gear together with the teeth of the pinion, spinning it. 2.The transformer in revendication 1 icharacterized by the fact that, in another version of realisation it is made of one piston (1) on which there is a strap (8) fastened and at the end of which there is a jack (2) that couples on a winding axis (4) in order to transfer the liniar movement to a revolution movement. 3. Putting the engine horizontally (at vehicles) as in revendication 1 characterized by the fact thatj becomes flatter allowing the pin tooth to get sharpened and cut the air better, making the movement easier.
