Abstract

L'invention concerne l'expression différentielle d'un gène codant Ensadin-0625 dans des régions spécifiques du cerveau de patients souffrant de la maladie d'Alzheimer. Sur la base de cette constatation, l'invention concerne une méthode de diagnostic ou de pronostic d'une maladie neurodégénérative, notamment la maladie d'Alzheimer, chez un sujet ou une méthode permettant de déterminer si un sujet présente un risque accru de développer une telle maladie. De plus, l'invention concerne des méthodes thérapeutique et prophylactique permettant de traiter ou de prévenir la maladie d'Alzheimer et des troubles neurodégénératifs associés au moyen du gène Ensadin-0625 et des produits géniques correspondants. L'invention concerne enfin un procédé de criblage d'agents de modulation de maladies neurodégénératives.
