Abstract

A device for receiving and contacting two contact-adhesive standard-size chip cards (3,4) with receiving elements (1,2) for respectively inserting a chip card (3,4) and a printed circuit board (12) provided with two contacting units (10,11) on one side for contacting respectively one chip card (3,4). The height of the receiving elements (1,2) is offset such that the inserted chip cards (3,4) overlap on one side of the printed circuit board (12) and the contacting units (10,11) are arranged on various planes, corresponding to the receiving elements (1,2).
