Abstract

The present invention relates to a rotary compressor and is concerned with that type of compressor which is of oil sealed type, that is to say the type in which oil is injected into the compression space and is subsequently removed from the compressed gas, typically air, and then refused. The rotary compressor comprises an air-end having a rotor disposed internally within a stator, the air-end further comprising a first separator in the form of a baffle for separating oil from compressed air, the said first separator positioned to surround the stator.
