Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour réaliser des alliages métalliques, notamment des alliages de magnésium, de faible granulométrie dans un corps d'alliage métallique non extrudé, ainsi qu'un dispositif pour réaliser ce procédé et un produit fabriqué selon ledit procédé. Une charge cyclique, alternant en fonction de l'emplacement, appliquée sur des parties de la surface du corps d'alliage métallique non extrudé permet de comprimer et de décomprimer celles-ci localement. La température de traitement du corps d'alliage métallique pouvant aller jusqu'à 600 °C, on obtient ainsi une diminution de la granulométrie de l'alliage métallique en surface, ce qui se traduit par une amélioration notable de l'aptitude au laminage du corps d'alliage métallique.
