Title of Invention : Multipurpose Child Carseat
( 1 ) Technical Field
This invention is regarding a multipurpose child carseat. When it is fixed on the stroller frame, it becomes child carseat that can be used as a stroller. When it is fixed on the rocking chair frame, it becomes child carseat that can be used as a rocking chair.
( 2 ) Background Art
This invention is regarding multipurpose child carseat considering safety and convenience of child by making it easy to mount and dismount on stroller, rocking chair.
It is regarding child carseat invented to maintain the most convenient status when it is used as a stroller or a rocking chair by installing back rest adjustment device on the disk where carseat upper body and lower body meet.
Carseat arm rest can be ascended or descended. The back rest can be folded so that the carseat can be carried and stored without separating from the stroller frame when it is used as a stroller.
As it has buffer rubber in the stroller and the rocking chair frame, child on this product can rest comfortably.
There are 3 fixing hooks for carseat belt in the back side of the upper body so that users can mount and dismount the carseat conveniently and safely.
Child carseat with characteristics to have the safety guard to be mounted and dismounted on the arm rest of child carseat and buffer rubber of safety guard is combined between both handles.
Most of the traditional products are used as child carseat only. Some carseats that can be used as a stroller have built in wheels in the carseat body so that contaminating substances can be carried into the car because of the wheels.
Additionally, the carseat body is designed and manufactured as one body therefore it is not easy for users to carry or store.
( 3 ) Disclosure of Invention
The technological task that this invention wants to achieve was to give child on this product comfortable posture through installing 3 step back rest adjustment device on the disk connecting the upper body and lower body to solve the problems in the traditional products.
Arm rest can be ascended or descended and the back rest can be folded so that is can be carried or stored without separating carseat from the stroller frame.
It has fixing hooks so that users can mount and dismount the carseat. The hooks has safety device to prevent the safety belt from being separated from the hook so that it can provide safety and convenience to the children.
Child carseat with characteristics to have the safety guard to be mounted and dismounted on the arm rest of child carseat and buffer rubber of safety guard is combined between both handles.

Figure 1 shows the status of use of this invention, child carseat.
Figure 2(a) is a summary figure to show the connection between carseat upper body and lower body via back rest adjustment device, and Figure 2(b) is a cross-sectional view of upper disk, lower disk and back rest adjustment device.

( 5 ) Best mode for carrying out the Invention
This invention will be described in details through attached Figures.
Figure 1 shows the status of the use of child carseat.
As shown in Figure 1, the child carseat (1) is composed of upper body(4), lower body (5) and back rest adjustment device (2).
In the upper body (4), there is a sun visor(7) and in the rear side there are 3 hooks(lθ) for carseat safety belt. In the upper part of the rear side there is a back rest adjustment switch(208).
In the lower body(5), there are hooks(l l) for carseat belt. As the arm rests(9) allow ascending and descending and carseat back rest can be folded so that it is easy to carry and store when used as a stroller.
In the bottom of the lower body, there are grooves for frame bar (12, 12') so that they can be fixed on the stroller, rocking chair frame bar(801) and frame bar fixing locking device (3) is installed.
Figure 2(a) is the summary diagram to show the connection of the upper body (4), lower body (5) and back rest angle adjustment device (2).
The lower disk (202) of the lower body (5) has grooves for angle adjustment (205) and the upper disk (201) of the upper body (4) has grooves (205') into which angle adjustment fixing key (204) penetrates. The upper disk (201) and the lower disk (202) will be combined by the shaft (203).
Angle adjustment fixing key (204) is fixed to angle adjustment grooves (205), 205') by the spring (206) installed in the case (209) and it maintains the angle that the user set.
When changing the angle, press angle adjustment switch (208) in the upper part of the rear side. The angle adjustment fixing key (204) Which is connected to the wire (207) will be separated from angle adjustment groove (205) of the lower body (5).
When the user places the switch (208) at a specific angle he wants, the fixing key (204) will be returned by the force of the spring and fix the angle.
Figure 2(b) shows the cross-sectional view that shows the combination of upper body(4), lower body (5) angle adjustment device(2).
Figure3(a)(b)(c) shows the actual uses of back rest angle adjustment device(2). Figure4(a) shows the locking device for frame bar when it is used as a stroller, rocking chair.
As shown in Figure 9(a) and Figure 10, tighten the rear side frame bar (801) close to fixing groove(12) by pressing the fixing grooves (12') for carseat (1) frame bar (801) vertically.
The locking switch (301) of the frame bar(801) fixing locking device (3) will be pushed backward and the frame bar will be fixed in the frame bar grooves (312) safely, and the locking switch (301) will be returned by the spring (306) so that the child carseat will be fixed to the frame safely.
When mounting and dismounting the carseat, pull the locking switch (301) with hands. The plate spring (307) installed in the grooves (312) will help mounting and dismounting the child carseat. Figure4(b) is a deal figure of the frame bar fixing locking device.
Figureδ is the rear side figure of the upper body(4). In the center of rear side of the upper body, there is an angle adjustment switch(208) so that you can adjust the back rest angle easily with a hand.
Figure6(a) shows the hooks(lθ) for car safety belt.
We install two hooks (10) for carseat safety belt on the both side of the bottom of the rear side of the upper body (4) and connect a safety latch (101) to the spring (102) with a pin (103) so that the carseat safety belt will not be separated from the hooks and users can mount and dismount it easily and safely. Figure6(b) is the deal Figure of the hooks(lθ) for carseat safety belt.
Figure7(a)(b)(c)(d) are deal Figures of the arm rest. Figure7(e)(f) are cross-sectional figure of the actual uses.
In the arm rest slide(905), there are arm rest height adjustment grooves (903) and arm rest guide grooves (902) so that it can be fixed to the arm rest guide
rail (901) and prevent it from separating from the arm rest slide (905) when ascending and descending.
In the lateral sides of the lower body (5) into which the arm rest slide is penetrating, arm rest height fixing key (904) is connected to the spring (906) and pin(907).
When adjusting the height of the arm rest height as shown in Figure7(e)(f), press the handle of the height fixing key (904). It will be separated from the arm rest height adjustment grooves (903). When the user release the handle in the height he wants, it will be fixed to the adjustment groove (903) by the fixing key (904) because of the force of the spring.
Figureδ shows the status of a stroller frame(800) before installing a carseat in it.
In the stroller frame (800), there are buffer rubber(802) at 4 places in both edges of the frame bar (801) to which the carseat is fixed. They will absorb the impacts from the surface and maintain the comfortable posture.
Figure9(a) shows the status of front view use as a stroller by installing the child carseat(l) to the stroller frame(800). Figure 9(b) shows the status of rear view use as a stroller.
Figure 10 shows the status of the use as a rocking chair by installing the child carseat(l) to the rocking chair frame (100).
In the stroller frame (800), there are buffer rubber(802) at 4 places in both edges of the frame bar (801) to which the carseat is fixed. They will absorb the impacts from the surface and maintain the comfortable posture.

should be inserted to the arm rest(9) of children's carseat(l), to have a insertion projection and a fixing key(503) at the end of the handles(501) of safety guard and to have a buffer rubber(502) between the handles.
( 6 ) Industrial Applicability
The invention is the multi-purpose child carseat which can be used as a stroller, a rocking chair when it is fixed into the respective frame. It has locking device in the bottom side of the carseat so that it can be fixed into each frame bar.
It has hooks with the safety latches to fix the carseat in the car easily and safely to improve the convenience and safety of the children.
Additionally, it is cost efficient because users do not have to purchase each product respectively and reduce industrial waste after use.
