Abstract

This invention is related to a cleaning agent container (1) for washing machines (2) or preferably dishwashers, where detergent ( or cleaning agent) is added and which is fixed to a washing machine door's (3) inner surface, which prevents the contact of detergent that is located in it with washing water when closed to eliminate the unnecessary use of detergent and which facilitates detergent mixture with washing water when open.

Description

CLEANING AGENT CONTAINER
This invention is related to a cleaning agent container in washing machines or preferably dishwashers, where cleaning agent (or detergent) is added and which is fixed to a door's inner surface, which moves together with the door, the door enabling opening and closure of the washing machine or dishwasher for inserting and ejecting materials to be washed.
In the state of the art, in washing machines, especially in dishwashers having under hinged doors, cleaning agent is preserved in a cleaning agent container placed in the inner surface of the door, which is closed with lid. When the machine comes to washing cycle, this lid is opened and water flows into the box and transfers the detergent to the inside of the dishwasher. However when the lid is closed, due to an opening in the upper side of the lid, water flows into the cleaning agent container before the exact time.
In the state of the art, in DEI 9954706, when the under hinged door of dishwasher is closed, a bi-metallic lock is defined which keeps the detergent in the lower part of washing tub until the temperature of the washing tub reaches a predefined temperature value.
In GB 1521760, in washing machines where detergent powder is used, a discharge hollow is defined, where excessive detergent, which does not dissolve or does not belong to the washing cycle, is located.
In EP0207520, in the fixing wall for cleaning agent dosing machine, a window including a carrier of stringer strips form, and elastic spreader bolts fixed to the skirts of the carrier are defined.
In EP0893091, a cleaning agent dosing unit equipped with a small closing bolt, at least a space is defined. 03 000073
The aim this invention is to produce a cleaning agent container for home appliances, preferably dishwashers, which will prevent the contact of detergent that is located in it with washing water before the washing cycle with detergent; and which will help detergent be softened easily and mixed with washing water at the washing cycle with detergent:
The cleaning agent container designed to achieve this objective is shown in the appended figures, and of these figures;
Figure 1 - is a three dimensional general view of a washing machine which includes a cleaning agent container.
Figure 2 - is a three dimensional general view of a cleamng agent container.
Figure 3 - is a perspective view of a cleaning agent container including lateral cross sectional details, with an open lid. Figure 4 - is a perspective view of a cleaning agent container including lateral cross sectional details, with a closed lid.
Figure 5 - is a three dimensional bottom view of a cleamng agent container lid.
Each part in the figures has a unique number, and the equivalents of these numbers are as follows:
I. Cleaning agent container ■ 2. Washing machine
3. Door of washing machine
4. Lid of cleaning agent container 5. Detergent reservoir
6. Sealing gasket
7. Opening curve
8. Safety extension
9. Hinge housing 10. Hinge spindle
II. Bolt of a lock Home appliances, washing machines (2), preferably dishwashers include a washing machine door (3), which is preferably under hinged, which covers washing tub where things to be washed are placed. On washing machine (2), preferably on the washing machine door (3), there is a cleaning agent container (1) wherein detergent is put, which provides easy cleaning of things to be washed.
The cleaning agent container (1) includes a detergent reservoir (5) wherein cleaning agent is put; and a cleaning agent container lid (4) which by closing the detergent reservoir (5) prevents the contact of detergent that is located in it with washing water before the washing cycle with detergent and which help detergent to be softened easily and mixed with washing water at the washing cycle with detergent.
The cleamng agent container lid (4) includes a sealing gasket (6) which prevents the entrance of washing water by sealingly closing upper edges of the detergent reservoir (5); single or multiple hinge spindles (10) enabling the lid to be opened and closed; single or multiple hinge housings (9) which ensure that the hinge spindle (10) revolves around its center axis; a bolt of a lock (11) which makes sure that the lid is locked after being opened by revolving around the hinge spindle (10), an opening curve (7) which prevents rear part of the lid from being stuck to the upper edge surface of the detergent reservoir (5) and / or which prevents the lid from being obstructed while opening and closing by revolving around hinge spindle (10), and a single or multiple safety extensions (8) which prevent unnecessary water flow from the space formed by the opening curve (7), to the cleaning agent container (5) when the cleaning agent container lid (4) is closed, which enable the cleaning agent container lid (4) to open and afterwards washing water to flow into the detergent reservoir (5) by moving together with the cleaning agent container lid (4) when the cleaning agent container lid (4) is open; preferably of a form and length which will cover the surfaces having contact with the sealing gasket (6), excluding the upper edges of the detergent reservoir (5). With the safety extension (8), unnecessary use of detergent put into the reservoir beforehand is eliminated. When the cleaning agent container lid is opened (4) during the washing process, the safety extension (8) enables the water flow and in this way it ensures that the detergent in the detergent reservoir (5) is softened and also mixed easily with the washing water. In particular in such cases where detergent has been added to the detergent reservoir (5) but not used for a long time, it makes sure that the detergent which has hardened is softened and easily mixed with washing water.

Claims

A cleaning agent container (1) to be used in washing machines (2), preferably dishwashers which preferably include a washing machine door (3) which is preferably under hinged, which covers washing tub where things to be washed are placed; a detergent reservoir (5), preferably on the washing machine door (3), wherein detergent is put, which provides easy cleaning of things to be washed; a cleaning agent container lid (4) which closes the detergent reservoir (5) for preventing the unnecessary use of detergent; a sealing gasket (6) which prevents the flow of washing water by sealingly closing upper edges of the detergent reservoir (5); characterized by a single or multiple safety extensions (8) which prevent unnecessary water flow from the space formed by the rear extension of the cleaning agent container lid (4), to the detergent reservoir (5) when the cleaning agent container lid (4) is closed, and which enable the cleaning agent container lid (4) to open and afterwards washing water to flow into the detergent reservoir (5) by moving together with the cleaning agent container lid (4) when the cleaning agent container lid (4) is open; preferably of a form and length which cover the surfaces having contact with the sealing gasket (6), excluding the upper edges of the detergent reservoir (5).
A cleaning agent container (1) of the Claim 1, which includes a single or multiple hinge spindles (10) enabling the lid to be opened and closed; single or multiple hinge housings (9) which ensure that the hinge spindle (10) revolves around its center axis; a bolt of a lock (11) which makes sure that the lid is locked after being opened by revolving around the hinge spindle (10), an opening curve (7) which prevents rear part of the lid from being stuck to the upper edge surface of the detergent reservoir (5) and / or which prevents the lid from being obstructed while opening and closing by revolving around hinge spindle (10).
