  • the capacitances of the storage capacitors i.e., the storage capacitances are increased by providing the expansions 127 at the gate lines 121 for increasing overlapping areas and by providing the storage capacitor conductors 177, which are connected to the pixel electrodes 190 and overlap the expansions 127, under the pixel electrodes 190 for decreasing the distance between the terminals.
  • the TFT array panel provides a plurality of storage electrode lines 131, which are separated from the gate lines 121, on the same layer as the gate lines 121, and overlaps the storage electrode lines 131 with the storage capacitor conductors 177 to form storage capacitors without expansions of the gate lines 121.
  • the storage electrode lines 131 are supplied with a predetermined voltage such as the common voltage.
  • the storage electrode lines 131 alo ng with the storage capacitor conductors 177 may be omitted if the storage capacitance generated by the overlapping of the gate lines 121 and the pixel electrodes 190 is sufficient.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un affichage à cristaux liquides, comprenant un réseau d'une pluralité d'ensembles de pixels, chaque ensemble comprenant des premiers et des seconds pixels rouges adjacents entre eux, des premiers et des seconds pixels bleus faisant face les uns aux autres, obliquement, à travers les premiers et seconds pixels rouges, et des premiers et second pixels verts faisant face les uns aux autres, obliquement, à travers les premiers et seconds pixels rouges, et adjacents, respectivement, aux premiers et seconds pixels bleus, chaque pixel comprenant une électrode pixel et un transistor à film mince ; une pluralité de lignes de grilles s'étendant dans le sens d'une rangée, pour la transmission d'un signal grille aux pixels ; et une pluralité de lignes de données s'étendant dans le sens d'une colonne, pour la transmission de signaux de données aux pixels.
