Abstract
A vibration and structure-borne noise insulating device on the floor (1) of a passenger carrying vehicle, particularly of a rail vehicle, should have a simple design, be effective, and be provided in a form that enables it to be efficiently mounted. To this end, a device of this type is characterized by the following features: the underside of the floor (1) is at least partially covered by insulating bodies (3); the insulating bodies (3) are joined to the floor via O-shaped spring clamps (2); the spring clamps (2) are oriented, with their upright O-axes, parallel to the vertical axis of the vehicle; the attachment to the floor (1) of the vehicle and to the insulating bodies (3) is effected at the ends of the spring clamps (2) located opposite one another in the direction of the upright O-axis. The insulating bodies (3) are located at a distance from the floor (1) that, even in the event of maximum possible vibration amplitudes of the insulating bodies (3), still reliably eliminates their effects on the floor (1).
