Abstract

The invention relates to a motorised sun protection or black-out device. The main elements of the inventive device include at least one or more cradles (3) and a geared motor (2). Said geared motor, which is housed in a rail (1) by means of the cradle(s) (3), controls the movement of at least one sun protection or black-out element and is powered from an electrical power source via an electrical cable (5) that penetrates the rail (1). The invention is characterised in that it comprises at least one path (10c) for the electric cable (5) which is defined by at least one of the aforementioned main elements. The presence of one such path (10c) can be used to facilitate the installation of the device and to secure the operation thereof.
