Description

SEPARATOR FOR DRY SEP ARAΗON OF MINERALS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention is in the field of mining industry. More specifically, the invention relates to separator for dry separation of minerals.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A series of separators for dry separation of crushed ores and sands are known in art. It is device of. type of pneumatic table equipped with a porous deck, through which a compressed air is supplied for suspending the mineral particles during separation. These separators have a common disadvantage that is fouling of the pores of the deck with particles of the processed material. In addition, the mechanism of separation of mineral particles has essential imperfections: the jets of air supplied through the pores of the deck destroy stratification of the layer of material on the deck, especially when separating very fine particles (less than 20 microns), with small difference in densities. There is the belt separator. However, this separator js adopted only to the wet process and is not suitable for dry separation, especially because impossibility to change promptly the path of swinging motion of the belt table in dependence on mechanical characteristics of separated material such as the shape of mineral particles (round, or flat, or acute-angled, etc.), the variation of material particles in densities, sizes, humidity, etc. As was shown by experimental studies, this factor plays a very important role in dry separation.
There is a vibrating pneumatic separator. However, this separator is not suitable for dry separation due to the disadvantage same with the described above.
Unexpectedly, our experiments have shown that effective separation of minerals whose particles have a rounded shape close to spherical is achieved in dry process if belt table separator comprises a device for setting in a vibration of a belt table and regulator for changing an angle of plane of the belt table.
It is an object of the present invention to provide separator for effective separation of minerals in a dry process. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG.5 is a sectioned view showing the skid design
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a separator for effective separation of a mineral in a dry process which comprises a belt table, a regulator for changing an angle of plane of the belt table, a device for setting in a vibration of a belt table, and a drive, wherein the regulator changes the angle of plane of the belt table in longitudinal or cross direction to the direction of the belt table motion, the device comprises a skid and a roller wherein the roller contacts with the skid to mediate vibration of the belt table, and the vibration mode depends on a profile of the skid. The device comprises the roller and the skid fixed on separator in two variants. In the first, the device comprises a skid fixed on the belt table and a roller fixed on a bearing frame wherein the roller contacts with the skid to mediate vibration of the belt table. In the second, the device comprises a skid fixed on a bearing frame and a roller fixed on the belt table wherein the roller contacts with the skid to mediate vibration of the belt table. Preferably, the mineral of the invention is crushed gold ore or sand.
In the embodiment illustrated, the separator consists of the bearing frame 1 (fig. 1) on which the drive 2 with the eccentric for generating the swings of the belt table is fixed. The range of swings is controlled by the magnitude of eccentricity. The four carrying rollers 3 are fixed on the bearing frame (two on each side). The rollers have bearing ribs. Rollers play a role of running rollers on which the chassis 4 rests by skids 5 fixed with clamps on its frame. The supporting side of skids has a special profile 6 (figs. 2 through 5). The chassis on rollers is fixed by springs (two on each side) and connected with the eccentric by means of connecting rod. On the chassis, the belt table 7 with drive 8 is fixed by means of hinges 9 and links, which allow to change the angles of inclination of the belt table in longitudinal and transverse planes in a wide range depending on the method of separation (dry, wet) and on the properties of the processed material. The drive of table 8 allows controlling the speed of belt 10. For controlling the feed, the concentrator is equipped with feeder 11. The concentrator is equipped with chutes 12 with shutoff device 13 for receiving the products of separation.
According to this invention is now possible to increase the efficiency of separation of small-broken and finely crushed ores and sands through changing the path of swings of the working surface of the belt table depending on the mechanical characteristics of separated materials.
