Abstract

L'invention concerne un substrat comportant une surface réalisée dans un matériau matriciel non métallique, anorganique. Ledit substrat présente une couche de protection à base d'oxyde de titane/oxyde cérique pouvant être obtenue par application d'une composition de revêtement contenant des précurseurs d'oxyde de titane et d'oxyde cérique sur la surface du substrat, et compression de ladite composition de revêtement à une température de 500 °C. Ledit revêtement peut servir de protection thermorésistante, stable aux U.V. et transparente, de matériaux non métalliques anorganiques, notamment de verre, de vitrocéramique, contre l'attaque par des substances alcalines.
