Abstract

Um gezielt bestimmte Bereiche in der Elektrolyt-Elektrodenanordnung einer Brennstoffzelle weitestgehend wasserfrei zu halten und um eine ausreichende Versorgung der Reaktionszone mit Reaktionsgasen zu gewährleisten, wird vorgeschlagen, in den Aufbau mindestens einer Elektrode (6, 7) der Brennstoffzelle mindestens eine Be- und Entwässerungslage (3) zu integrieren, die sowohl als Drainage als auch als Reservoir für das in der Brennstoffzelle auftretende Wasser wirkt.
