Abstract

Disclosed is a cartridge (1), particularly a printing ink cartridge, comprising a container (2) receiving a fluid, especially printing ink. Said container is provided with a fluid-discharging nozzle (6) comprising a discharge valve which encompasses: a central element (10) which is arranged at the outlet of the fluid-discharging nozzle and is connected to a boundary wall of the fluid-discharging nozzle via steps (12) such that a fluid-discharging passage (14) is formed between the central element and the boundary wall, and a valve cap (16), a section (18) of which is fastened to the fluid-discharging nozzle, said fastening section (18) facing the container, while a functional valve section (20) thereof closes the fluid-discharging passage in a sealing manner, said functional valve section (20) being located opposite the container receiving the fluid. The functional valve section is connected to the fastening section via an elastic element such that the functional valve section is axially movable in an elastic manner away from the fastening section when the fluid-discharging passage is opened. The end of the central element, which faces the outlet, is provided with an outer peripheral edge that is adjacent to a cylinder section. The end of the functional valve section, which faces the outlet, is provided with an inward-facing peripheral sealing lip that brushes along the cylinder section while separating a flow of fluid along the peripheral edge when the functional valve section undergoes a closing movement.
