Symbolic bottle
The subject-matter of the models described in the application for protection is a symbolic bottle, made in different variants and intended for beverages, including in particular alcoholic beverages.
The chief point of the model is a new appearance of the bottle manifested in its shape, enhanced functional value and utility properties and original drawings displayed on its surface and on the surface of its variants.
The subject-matter of the model has been shown in the execution designs in the enclosed drawings, where: Fig.l is the front view of the bottle, Fig. la - is the rear view of the bottle, and Figures 2 - 4 show the front views of additional variants of the bottle and Figures 2a - 4a show the rear views of the respective bottle variants. Further variants of the bottle with corresponding drawings and in corresponding front and rear views - but with different shapes of the bottle body have been shown in Fig. 5 - 8 and Fig. 5a - 8a.
Additional variants of the bottle with a different shape and different drawings on its surface have been shown in corresponding front and rear views in Fig. 9 - 14 and Fig. 9a- 14a.
The bottle shown in Fig. 1 - 4 and Fig. la - 4a has a shape of a cylinder, which in its lower part where it joins the bottom has slightly rounded edges. In its upper part the bottle has a shape of a frustrum of cone joined with a tall neck in the shape of a slender cylinder. The bottleneck is covered with a decorative cap, which both at the front and at the back has a shape of a crowned woman's head. Both the cap and a
significant portion of the bottleneck circumference below can be dark blue with silver stars scattered against this background or can be plain, in one color, the bottleneck bearing vertical inscription along its height.
The entire bottle surface is matt - only on the front face of the bottle there is a distinct transparent rectangular field, on which there is a drawing of a woman in a loose gown with a radiant crown on her head, holding a torch in her raised hand. The said figure is presented in its front view- as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 or in its lateral view - as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4. The background of this figure is a drawing of grey skyscrapers displayed on the rear face of the bottle, including two lower ones on the sides and between them, in the middle two tall twin towers. Below the skyscrapers' base there are some irregular lines, imitating the reflection of the buildings in water.
Moreover, on the front face of the bottle there are some inscriptions, including the wording: VODKA or Big Apple in stylized letters at the bottom of the bottle under the picture and above - the wording: New York or Big Apple in considerably bigger letters.
Above the said inscriptions on the conical surface of the bottle there is a stylized picture of an eagle or an apple.
The bottle variant shown in Fig. 5 - 8 and Fig. 5a - 8a has la has a shape of a hexagonal solid, which in its lower part, above the base has a circumferential arched indentation. In the upper part the bottle walls join a cylindrical neck by means of soft convex and then concave arches.
The bottleneck is covered with a decorative cap, which both at the front and at the back has a shape of a crowned woman's head. The entire bottle surface is matt - only on the front face of the bottle there is a distinct transparent rectangular field, on which there is a drawing of a woman in a loose gown with a radiant crown on her head, holding a torch in her raised hand. The said figure is presented in its front view- as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 or in its lateral view - as shown in Fig. 7 and Fig. 8.
The background of this figure is a drawing of grey skyscrapers displayed on the rear face of the bottle, including two lower ones on the sides and between them, in the middle two tall twin towers.
At the bottom, below the skyscrapers' base there are some irregular lines, imitating the reflection of the buildings in water.
Moreover, on the front face of the bottle there are inscriptions, including the wording: New York or Big Apple in stylized letters above the picture and corresponding inscriptions, but arranged vertically at the front of the bottle, on its two side faces adjoining the middle front face.
An additional caption: VODKA is placed at the bottle bottom as shown in the variant presented in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, whereas in the bottle variants shown in Fig. 7 and Fig. 8 on the bottleneck there is a stylized drawing of an eagle.
A further variant of the bottle as shown in Fig. 9 - 14 and Fig. 9a - 14a is characteristic in that its neck has the shape of a slender frustrum of cone, the diameter of which decreases gradually towards the threaded riser which constitutes the upper end of the bottleneck. At its lower end the bottleneck joins a decorative flange formed by risers in the shape of leaves with serrate edges and tips pointed downwards. On the surface of each leaf there are raised lines imitating the leaf veins.
Below the flange - the main part of the bottle has a shape of a cylinder, having at the front a drawing of a forest and a bison, which in the bottle variant shown in Fig. 9, Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 is depicted rubbing its back against two joined tree trunks, whereas in the variant shown in Fig. 12, Fig. 13 and Fig. 14 - the bison is depicted in standing position. The back of the bottle bears only a drawing of a forest. Moreover, both on the front and the back face of the bottle variants shown in Fig. 10, Fig. 11, Fig. 13 and Fig. 14 there are inscriptions with the lettering arranged archwise.
The lower part of the bottle is formed of a convex, circumferential ring in the shape of a low cylinder of the diameter slightly bigger than the diameter of the main body of the bottle. The said ring is joined both with the main body of the bottle and with its bottom by means of a slating beveled line.
In addition, at the front of the bottle above the said ring there are some irregular, linear risers, imitating blades of grass.
The bottles described herein and shown in Fig. 1 - 14 are easy and handy to use owing to their appropriate proportions and special shapes. Thus e.g. the bottles shown in Fig. 1 - 8 are provided with a cap having its upper part wider than its lower part which makes the cap easy to hold and the bottle easy to open and close.
The high neck of the bottles shown in Fig. 1 - 4 makes it easy to pour the beverage, whereas the hexagonal shape of the bottles shown in Fig. 5 - 8 makes the bottle easy to hold while being raised.
Also the convex risers of the multi-foliate flange in the bottles shown in Fig. 9 - 14 ensure a convenient and secure grip of the bottle.
Notwithstanding the functional properties and utility values of the bottles described herein, the stylized letterings and drawings placed on the bottle surface in various combinations enhance the aesthetic and decorative qualities of the bottles.
Each of the bottles described herein can be made in various color combinations, special decorative quality, however, is obtained when the following color combinations are used for the bottles shown in Fig. 1 - 8:
- bottleneck and cap: advantageous color - dark blue with silver stars on the bottleneck,
- skyscrapers: advantageous color - dark grey,
- woman's figure: advantageous color - silvery-white,
- drawings background: advantageous colors - silvery or gradating blue, imitating the color of the sky,
- letterings: advantageous colors - red and white.
For the bottles shown in Fig. 9 - 14 advantageous colors are:
- bison: brown with gradating color intensity,
- forest: green,
- drawings background: white with the color intensity decreasing upwards and downwards gradually merging into the color of glass,
- letterings: black-and-gold.
