Abstract

L'invention concerne une endoprothèse vasculaire (10) destinée à un traitement de reperméation d'un vaisseau affecté de sténose, notamment d'une artère, et comprenant une enveloppe tubulaire ayant une forme de base cylindrique et une structure en réseau ou en maille qui permet de modifier radialement et axialement l'endoprothèse vasculaire dans une corrélation définie. L'endoprothèse vasculaire est composée d'un matériau nitinol qui est superélastique ou élastique de manière indéformable en fonction de la température ambiante, ce qui permet à ce matériau de déployer des forces de rappel qui permettent à l'endoprothèse vasculaire de reprendre, après déformation dans la plage de température superélastique, une forme qui lui a été donnée à température élevée. L'endoprothèse vasculaire comprend au moins une section d'ancrage dont l'élargissement permet d'obtenir une fixation de l'endoprothèse vasculaire par liaison de force ou de forme dans le vaisseau traité, et une section revêtement destinée à la reperméation de la sténose. La partie de l'endoprothèse (10) constituant la section d'ancrage (10/2, 10/3) déploie une force de rappel nettement plus élevée que celle de la section de revêtement (10/1) pour une déformation radiale déterminée, ce qui permet à l'endoprothèse vasculaire de retrouver la forme qui lui a été attribuée à haute température.
