Abstract

Für eine besonders einfache Aktualisierung und Übertragung von Treiberbausteinen (12) für eine Vorrichtung zur Datenübertragung einer technischen Anlage ist erfindungsgemäß ein Controller (10) zur Steuerung eines Datenaustauschs über eine Datenübertragungseinheit (2) mit einer Anzahl von an dieser angebundenen Peripheriemodulen (4) vorgesehen. Zum Datenaustausch mit dem Controller (10) ist dem jeweiligen Peripheriemodul (4) ein zugehöriger Treiberbaustein (12) zugeordnet, wobei das jeweilige Peripheriemodul (4) derart ausgebildet ist, dass bei dessen Ankopplung an die Datenübertragungseinheit (2) der Treiberbaustein (12) an den Controller (10) übertragbar ist.
