Abstract

The invention relates to medicine and medical devices and can be used for curing different diseases as, for example dermal, oncological and vascular diseases and for normalising blood pressure. The invention extends the scope of the inventive method and device. The inventive method consists in exposing a patient to the radiation of a powerful electrical open arc which is excited between two electrodes maid of different materials. Said electrodes are connected to a power source by means of a choke, a rectifier, an electric transformer and an oscillator. One electrode is embodied in the form of a carbon rod, the other electrode being embodied in the form of a peace of ferromagnetic alloy which contains 20-10 % of manganese, 5-2 % of carbon, 0.2-0.09 % of phosphorus, 0.7-0.05 % of silicium, 0.01-0.05 % of chromium, 0.03-0.05 % 0f nickel and 90-70 % of iron. Said electrodes are arranged inside the body of a reflector embodied in the form of a truncated cone. Said reflector is hinged to a post. The control of the arc is performed by maintaining automatically or manually a permanent space between the electrodes.
