Abstract

Le module (1) d'interconnexion optique entre une fibre (2) et un composant électro-optique (3) comporte un corps (5), en matière plastique transparente, dans lequel est maintenue une extrémité de la fibre. Le composant (3) est disposé au moins partiellement dans une cavité (6) du module. Le positionnement de l'extrémité de la fibre par rapport au composant est réalisé par une déformation plastique du corps (5) du module, provoquée par un chauffage localisé du corps (5). La partie chauffée du corps peut être constituée par une paroi mince annulaire délimitant, à la partie supérieure d'une partie centrale indéformable du corps, la cavité dans laquelle est positionné le composant électro-optique (3). Un insert (7) en matériau ferromagnétique disposé dans une zone intermédiaire du corps du module, entre l'extrémité de la fibre et le composant électro-optique, peut également permettre, lorsqu'il est chauffé par induction, la déformation du corps (5).
