Abstract

Ce dispositif de freinage est remarquable en ce que :- le carter de l'étrier est composé de deux flasques parallèles (1) et (2) réunis à chaque extrémité par un pontet transversal (3) afin de délimiter une ouverture médiane (4) pour le positionnement des plaquettes ;- les plaquettes (5) et (6) présentent, à chacune de leur extrémité supérieure, des agencements (5a) et (6a) pour être supportées et guidées par des axes (7) et (8) faisant office de glissières ; - les axes (7) et (8) sont, sur la totalité de leur longueur, engagés dans l'épaisseur des flasques (1) et (2) et partiellement dans l'épaisseur des pontets (3) correspondant à une zone où il n'y a pas de déformation afin de réduire, d'une manière importante, le phénomène d'hystérésis résultant du frottement entre les plaquettes et le carter.
