Abstract

The invention concerns a contraceptive pharmaceutical composition in a male mammal, characterized in that it comprises at least a peptide of 5 to 25 consecutive amino acids of a peptide sequence encoded by the exon 1 of a mammal FSH receptor, said peptide being capable of inducing production of antibodies in sufficient amount to compete with FSH and inhibit spermatogenesis in a male individual.
