Abstract

Mit einem Ionenbeweglichkeitsspektrometer mit einem Ionisationsraum mit Gasein- und -auslass sowie einer Ionisationsquelle und mit einem Driftraum, wobei der Ionisationsraum und der Driftraum durch ein Ionentor voneinander getrennt sind, welches Elektroden mit voneinander unterschiedlichem, veränderbarem elektrischen Potential aufweist, soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, mit der bei voller Funktionsfähigkeit und möglichst einfacher Herstellbarkeit Ionentore für ein Ionenbeweglichkeitsspektrometer wesentlich verkleinert werden können. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass das Ionentor (6) eine äussere ringförmige Elektrode (16) und eine innere, bezüglich der Symmetrieachse des Ionenbeweglichkeitsspektrometers zentriert angeordnete Elektrode (17) aufweist.
