Abstract

Nucleic acids encoding very long chain fatty acid biosynthesis enzymes and uses thereof, e.g. in methods for identifying agents that alter the activity or expression of said enzymes. Further disclosed are antibodies, therapeutic agents, and methods for diagnosing or treating a condition associated with a very long chain fatty acid biosynthesis enzyme.
